I know what you're thinking... "Shouldn't life goal be about the same as home goal?" Well, sure but, no. In this case life goal is all about me, my life, physically. This is about how I, as a person, am green. I'm still a pretty light shade of green but I'm getting a little darker each day. Each of these things I do for my own personal reasons.
100% vegetarian shampoo and conditioner. Sounds crazy right? Well, it's not so crazy, these products are not made with any animals products. Use natural shampoos and conditioners, the ingredients are safer. I am currently using Avalon 
Natural deodorant is actually a very effective product. I was a bit skeptical at first because I loved my *name brand* deodorant/antiperspirant. But after reading about health concerns,a bit of info which can be found at www.care2.com, I decided to switch to something a bit more natural and safer. I'll admit, at first I did not like it and immediately switched back to the original sweat free stuff. But since I've become quite serious on the subject of going green and taking care of myself I have permanently switched to a natural deodorant and am quite happy with it.
Not a strict vegetarian, but a Pescetarian,and yes, that is a real word. For all you mommies out there, it's okay, protein does come from other things besides meat. Vegetarians are actually quite healthy if done right. Stop by www.vegsoc.org for a bit of information so you know, "yes, all my nutrients can come from plants." Besides, it's good for you, you should try it. If you can't cut meat out, atleast serve it as a side dish and have vegetables as the main course.
I've been buying organic make-up. I'll admit that I still have all my non-organic make-up, but that's because I don't want to waste it. I have also quit painting my nails, which was hard for me. I've gotten use to the natural look and I've noticed my nails are much healthier since not painting them. Could it be from not using chemicals on them, or just coincidental?
This one is just for the ladies, DivaCup and reusable cotton pads! Not only will this purchase save you money in the long run but it will also keep a huge amount of feminine hygiene trash out of the landfill. I was a bit weirded out by the thought of a divacup but after using it for awhile I love it. It is a wonderful product and I reccommend it to every woman out there!
And finally this site. How else could I share how important greening my life is with so many people. I am very serious about this and plan to stick with it.
