We use a filter for our drinking water. We were spending so much money buying jug water each week. It's amazing how much money you'll save if you buy a filter for your tap water. Even better, don't buy a filter, just drink it! Each year you should receive test results from your local water treatment plant telling you what is in your water. Do you get these same test results from your bottle of water? Now, if you have well water you won't know what's there unless you test it yourself. But it's definitely worth switching from bottled to tap.
Recycled toilet paper, is not the softest or the thickest but it is worth it. Using it saves an amazing amount of trees from being cut down each year. So, sure it's not super thick and may tear but you do wash your hands after using the bathroom, don't you?
